![]() BIO:
The Bus Drivers are a band backed by a lifetime of experience and passion for playing music. Featuring former members of several successful Connecticut bands, The Bus Drivers prides itself on putting on a spectacular show wherever and whenever the band plays. Mixing classic rock, blues rock, southern rock and a little bit of country rock too, the band's diverse song choices and unique arrangements allow The Bus Drivers to have a little something for everyone. In addition, the band's professionalism and musicianship help separate The Bus Drivers from other bands on the scene. The Bus Drivers are a diverse and talented group of musicians, enabling them to cover an incredibly wide variety of artists, including everyone from The Rolling Stones to Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd to The Grateful Dead, Steve Miller to Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty to the Zac Brown Band and many more.
The core of The Bus Drivers consists of lead singer/guitarist Jeff Przech, bassist Joe O'Brien, and drummer Mike Keyes. The band began in 2005, when the players got together to turn their longtime musical friendship into a new project. The Bus Drivers started small, but have worked hard and have been fortunate to play some of the best venues at home in Connecticut and throughout New England.
In addition to the core trio, The Bus Drivers are often joined on stage by several other amazing musicians as well. Guitarists Nano Sciucco and Anthony Krafft, keyboardist Chris James, and vocalist Jill O'Brien, the "Sister of The Bus Drivers," are all members of The Bus Drivers Family and do shows with the band when the stars align. Each of these talented individuals bring a different and exciting element to The Bus Drivers experience.
The Bus Drivers are also available for acoustic shows. As an acoustic duo, The Bus Drivers were named Best Happy Hour/Duo Act in the Hartford Advocate’s 2007 & 2008 Grand Band Slam. They have over 700 songs in their repertoire and often perform an entire three sets based solely on audience requests. No matter what your musical needs, from full six piece band to acoustic solo or duo work, The Bus Drivers will provide a quality and professional show for you and your audience, whether it's a bar, tavern, county fair, town green or moving train.
THE BUS DRIVERS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS AND FUNCTIONS!
